The Minnesota Vikings fined WR Troy Williamson for missing last Sunday's game. Williamson missed the game to attend his Grandmother's funeral; his Grandmother who helped to raise him. Good job Vikings. Sorry some things are right and some things are wrong, regardless of the legal aspect. It may be legal for the Vikings to do this, but it also makes them look like huge jackasses. Just very bad way to treat your players.

unbelieveable
MLB has a policy that allows players to go on "grieving leave" or something like that. I don't know if they dock the player, but I'm assuming not.
