In regards to your overreaction to comments made by designated hitter Aubrey Huff on the Bubba the Love Sponge Show, you are the one out of line. Aubrey was expressing his opinion and speaking in hyperbole on a comedy show. Are you that un-American that a baseball player cannot speak his mind and exercise his 1st Amendment rights without you attempting to discipline him?
Mr. MacPhail free speech is the cornerstone of our democracy that must be taken seriously even by the Baltimore Orioles. I suggest you rethink your position and concentrate on getting the team above .500 next year.
